Johanna Norrback-Ilvessalo is my name. I founded Attorney at Law Familja in August 2014. I have worked in high profile law firms since 2002, but decided to take the leap and become an entrepreneur. I have two law degrees. One from the University of Umeå, Sweden in 2000 and the other from the University of Helsinki, Finland in 2002 with a major in European law. In 2001 I studied international child law and conflicts of law rules at the University of Manchester, England. In 2004-2005 I trained at the bench at the district court of Mustasaari, Finland. I have always been interested in languages, different cultures and people per se and being able to combine all these in my daily work is a dream come true. I find it very fulfilling to be able to assist persons caught in between different legal systems, whether it be due to an inheritance -, divorce – or taxation matter.
Privately, I am a mother of two amazing children and I also have an amazing husband – I’m a family person and friends and family are always welcome at our table! I love to sing and I also write songs whenever possible. Staying in shape is also high on my priority list, and this is doable these days, since my employer is so understanding:-) Traveling is also one of my many passions, but I don’t know what my employer is going to say about that yet. A lot of my spare time is also spent at our country house, painting, planting and living life to it’s fullest.
